El Dr. Curtis Clark ha estado en la Universidad Estatal Politécnica de California como profesor en ciencias biológicas, desde 1998. Se especializa en botánica y está principalmente interesado en la diversidad, evolución y hábitat de las plantas.

Especializado en botánica, Clark recibió su doctorado en la Universidad de California en Davis, y su maestría en la Universidad de Oklahoma. Recibió su licenciatura en la Universidad de Oklahoma con una especialización en zoología y una asignatura secundaria en botánica, química y Alemán. Es un autor consumado, que ha publicado abundantes documentos dentro de su campo de estudio.
