Paleontólogo
Universidad del Estado de Montana

El renombrado paleontólogo Jack Horner se desempeña actualmente como curador de palentología en el Museum of the Rockies, de la Universidad del Estado de Montana, en Bozeman, Mont.

Horner es reconocido por sus extensos estudios sobre dinosaurios. Él descubrió los primeros huevos de dinosaurio en el hemisferio oeste, embriones de dinosaurio y evidencias que indicaban el anidamiento colonial y el cuidado de los padres entre los antiguos lagartos.

Horner fue consejero técnico de Steven Spielberg para las películas Jurassic Park. Ha publicado gran cantidad de artículos y documentos de investigación y fue co-autor de varios libros, incluyendo Digging Up Tyrannosaurus Rex, Maia y A Dinosaur Grows Up. A pesar de que no posee un título formal, estudió geología y zoología en la Universidad de Montana entre los años 1964-1966 y 1968-1972.
