Directora ejecutiva
Global Space League

Joan Horvath es directora ejecutiva de Global Space League, una agrupación sin fines de lucro que promueve la experimentación científica y el interés, entre estudiantes del kindergarten hasta el college. Es además fundadora y CEO de Takeoff Technologies LLC, proveyendo consultoría en tecnologías aeroespaciales al sector privado, fundamentalmente a la industria del entretenimiento.

Previamente, trabajó durante 16 años en el Laboratorio de Propulsión a Reacción de la NASA como una auténtica “científica de cohetes”. Horvath posee una maestría en ingeniería mecánica, aeroespacial y nuclear de la Universidad de California en Los Ángeles.
