Semana del Motociclismo en Daytona

La Semana del Motociclismo en Daytona es una de las reuniones del motociclismo más grandes del mundo. A pesar de su nombre, son realmente más de dos semanas de acción continua de motos, ya que cerca de 500.000 personas bajan a Daytona Beach.

La calle principal es el centro de todas las celebraciones, con filas de motocicletas, bares y fanáticos de las motos. También hay exhibiciones, muestras de acrobacia, competiciones de tatuajes y hasta luchas de ensalada de col.

Todos los tipos de motocicletas son bienvenidos, pero la mayoría de los jinetes parecen ser fanáticos de las Harley-Davidson. En la cercana Pista Internacional de Daytona hay un calendario entero de motociclismo para entretenerse si la calle principal está muy llena –incluye carreras clásicas, US superbikes y la mundialmente famosa Daytona 200.
